The management of the Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, has suspended the ongoing second semester examinations of the school indefinitely.

The decision was taken after a final year student named Olaoye Fabiyi was killed on Wednesday, allegedly by suspected cult members.

PUNCH Online reported on Wednesday that Fabiyi was dragged out of the examination hall by unidentified men while writing his final paper.

According to a source who witnessed the incident, the gunmen dragged him to a corner, where they shot him and hit him on the head with a brick.

The attackers reportedly left him dead before leaving the scene.
