Some METRO bus lines have not returned to normal after Beryl

HOUSTON (KIAH) — Some Houston residents who rely on METRO buses have been without service since Hurricane Beryl struck Monday.

A man living in northeast Houston said his usual bus stop near East Houston Road and Sunbury Street is still closed due to high water.

And the nearest stop is a 16-minute walk away.

According to METRO, three bus lines in our city have been diverted due to storm damage.

No information is available on when the affected routes will return to normal.
