Man found dead in front of shopping center in La Sanber

According to Laredo police, a man was found dead outside a shopping center on San Bernardo Avenue.

Officers responded to a report of an unresponsive person at a shopping center in the 4600 block of San Bernardo Avenue at around 10:58 a.m. on July 5.

The first officers on the scene found a 40-year-old man with no signs of life. The man was later pronounced dead.

According to police, investigators found drug paraphernalia near the body.

According to police, there is no evidence of foul play. A preliminary investigation into this possible overdose is underway.
