State launches official investigation into fatal accident at Disneyland Park

An official investigation has been launched following a tragic accident at Disneyland.

State authorities are currently investigating the shocking death of a Disneyland employee last week. The employee suffered severe head injuries in the park and died.

Bonnye Lear, a 60-year-old administrator, was reportedly riding a golf cart through Disneyland when she fell and hit her head. The incident occurred in a backstage area of ​​Disneyland Park on Friday, June 5.

The area is known as Critter Country and is currently undergoing a major, large-scale renovation as work continues on the park’s upcoming new attraction, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The water attraction will officially open at Florida’s Magic Kingdom this summer, with the opening at Disneyland to follow later this year.

As a result, Critter Country and its attractions are covered with construction walls and materials and trails are temporarily closed.

Lear succumbed to her injuries two days after being admitted to the hospital. KTLA, This accident is currently under official investigation; government authorities are looking into the incident.

The Anaheim Police Department is also investigating the traffic accident.

Lear was the manager of Club 33 at Disneyland. This iconic and exclusive establishment, originally designed as a VIP lounge for Walt Disney himself, has evolved into an incredibly prestigious private club. Club 33 is located above the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction at Disneyland.

Disneyland has not announced any changes to safety protocol at the park as a result of the accident, but the theme park resort is required by law to report serious injuries and deaths.

“We are heartbroken over the loss of Bonnye and extend our sincere condolences to everyone who cared for her,” Ken Potrock, president of the Disneyland Resort, said in a statement. “At this time, our focus is on supporting her family and our staff through this tragic event and ensuring they have the resources they need.”

The Resort mourns the loss of Disney Legend Bonnye Lear, who was personally responsible for much of the magic of the Disneyland theme parks. Her loss will be greatly missed by the fans and employees who benefited from her greatness every day.
