Missing woman found dead in garbage bin on Paddock Road; suspect arrested

A man was arrested after a woman reported missing was found dead in a trash can, her family and police said Tuesday. Brittany Moran, 30, was last seen in the Loveland area between May 15 and May 16, 2024. Her mother, Audrey Moran, said her daughter had been very active on Facebook and became concerned after a few days of inactivity. After two more days of inactivity, Moran began asking her friends if they had heard from her. She said her daughter was in Loveland frequently, so Audrey began talking to people and friends in the area and eventually filed a missing person report with police. After days of searching, according to Audrey, detectives came to her and told her her daughter had been found dead in a trash can behind an abandoned building on Paddock Road in Paddock Hills. “Nobody deserved this,” Audrey Moran said. Dean Allen, 50, was arrested in connection with her death. “Because of him and the way he treated my daughter, I can’t even see her one last time,” Moran said. She shared that the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers. “I love my baby, she knows I’ll do anything to find out everything,” Moran said. She shared that Moran leaves behind seven children and they will be making a GoFundMe donation to help with family expenses.

Brittany Moran, 30, was last seen in the Loveland area between May 15 and 16, 2024.

Her mother, Audrey Moran, said her daughter had been very active on Facebook and began to worry after a few days of inactivity.

After two more days of inactivity, Moran began asking her friends if they had heard from her.

She said her daughter was often in Loveland, so Audrey began talking to people and friends in the area and eventually filed a missing person report with police.

After days of searching, Audrey said investigators came to her and told her that her daughter had been found dead in a trash can behind an abandoned building on Paddock Road in Paddock Hills.

“Nobody deserves this,” said Audrey Moran.

Dean Allen, 50, was arrested in connection with her death.

“Because of him and the way he treated my daughter, I cannot see her one last time,” Moran said.

She said the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers.

“I love my baby, she knows I will do everything I can to figure everything out,” Moran said.

She shared that Moran leaves behind seven children and they will start a GoFundMe campaign to help with the family’s expenses.
