1 in custody in connection with shooting; investigation ongoing | Local news

Police Chief Bobby Wood said the shooting victim, whose name was not released, was taken to a hospital for treatment of what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The PPD chief said no suspects were located at the scene of the shooting, which occurred near the intersection of East Glendale and North Seminary.

Police interviewed witnesses at the scene, and local law enforcement also surrounded a home in the 600 block of North Race Street, eventually entering the home with a drone. Police Chief Wood said the investigation into the case is ongoing.
