Arrest for sexual assault of roller skater in South Beach

MIAMI – Miami Beach police announced Friday the arrest of a man wanted in connection with the sexual assault of a woman last Tuesday morning in South Beach.

Police identified the suspect as 30-year-old Keithy Hill Jr. They say Hill was taken into custody by Hollywood police.

According to police, the woman was roller skating in the 2300 block of Beach Walk around 1 a.m. when Hill Jr. approached her from behind, grabbed her, threw her to the ground, dragged her into the dunes and then sexually assaulted her.

According to records, he was convicted of sexual abuse of minors in the state of Illinois and was on the state’s sex offender registry.

Charges are filed against Hill Jr.
