Child injured in bicycle accident on Provincelands Road in Provincetown

PROVINCETOWN – A child, approximately 12 years old, was injured in an apparent bicycle accident in Provincetown around 3 p.m. Saturday. The incident reportedly occurred at the Provincelands Bike Trail tunnel near the Provincelands Visitor Center in Cape Cod National Seashore. Paramedics called for an ambulance but transported the victim to Cape Cod Hospital. Additional details were not immediately available.
