Cities where housing prices are rising fastest in the Houston metro area

Cities where housing prices are rising fastest in the Houston metro area

(STACK) – The real estate frenzy sparked by the coronavirus pandemic continues, albeit at a slower pace. Buyers are still competing for a limited supply of housing, driving up prices of affordable properties.

In April, the typical value of a home in the United States was $359,402, up 4.4% from the previous year.

Rising mortgage rates have slowed growth, with prices even falling in some areas. But some regions are still experiencing price increases compared to the previous year.

Stacker compiled a list of the cities with the fastest growing housing prices in the Houston metro area using data from Zillow. Cities are ranked according to their price change over one year in April 2024.
