TJ Maxx arrives at the Village Plaza at Bunker Hill in Houston

TJ Maxx plans to open a new location at the Village Plaza in Bunker Hill this week.

Company officials announced in a statement that the grand opening will take place on May 30.

“Our new store in Houston will offer an ever-changing selection of high-quality, on-trend, brand-name products at the incredible prices TJ Maxx is known for,” Peter Benjamin, president of TJ Maxx, said in a statement. “Our buyers create a unique blend that provides value for styles in every department and we’re excited to bring that experience to a new neighborhood.”

Customers can expect the store layout to be similar to other locations in the Houston area. The store will also feature designer offerings on fashion, accessories, jewelry, home, beauty and other items.

“With a constant stream of new releases, we offer an exciting one-stop shop that makes it easy for consumers to stay on trend with the styles they love and save big every day,” Benjamin said.

As part of the store’s grand opening, TJ Maxx plans to donate $10,000 to the Houston Children’s Charity.
