1 person killed in multi-car, motorcycle crash on Sam Houston Turnpike

One person was killed in a crash involving a motorcycle and at least three cars on the Sam Houston Turnpike.

The collision occurred on the 8 ring road while the vehicles were traveling eastbound. The incident was reported Saturday afternoon around 12:50 p.m.

The right shoulder, right lane and two center lanes are currently blocked while authorities process the crash.

In addition to this death, another person was transported to a nearby hospital and their condition is currently unknown.
