2025 MLB All-Star Game date set in Atlanta

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – The date for the 2025 MLB All-Star Game in Atlanta has been set.

On Thursday, MLB announced that the game would take place on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Truist Park.

The league announced in November that play would return to Atlanta.

The 2021 All-Star Game had been awarded to the city by MLB in 2019, but in April 2021, just three months before the game, it was moved to Coors Field in Denver following objections to sweeping changes to Georgia’s voting laws, which critics deemed too restrictive.

This will be the third time the city has hosted the game and the first time Truist Park has hosted it. The game was played at Atlanta Stadium in 1972 and at Turner Field in 2000.

The 2026 All-Star Game will be held at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia to mark the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

The Braves also released their 2025 schedule on Thursday.
