Ohio man arrested after attempting to hide meth bladder and methamphetamine during traffic stop

NOBLE COUNTY, Ohio (WTRF) – An Ohio man is behind bars after a traffic stop led to a drug-related arrest in Noble County.

According to the Noble County Sheriff’s Office, officers stopped a vehicle on July 8 after observing a traffic violation. They identified Terry Ivey as the driver, who told officers he did not have a valid driver’s license.

While speaking with Ivey, officers said they noticed that the other three occupants of the car were overly nervous and did not keep their hands where officers could see them.

When the occupants were asked to exit the vehicle, Eric Pangle was observed attempting to hide an object in his crotch area, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies said he then threw a glass pipe (meth bubble) onto the floor of the car.

Pangle was arrested and found in possession of a substance that officers suspected was methamphetamine.

According to officials, Ivey was cited for driving while license suspended and Pangle was arrested for drug possession and taken to the Noble County Jail, where he remains in custody.

Deputies say more charges may be presented to the Noble County grand jury.
