Cook had Buffalo’s first 1,000-yard rushing season since 2017. He was very dynamic at times, causing problems for opponents. Cook was a matchup problem out of the backfield, as Allen had a higher passer rating when targeting Cook.

The Bills could lean more heavily on Cook this year, as the third-year pro has risen in importance in Buffalo’s offense. With Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis gone this offseason, there are plenty of options for Cook.

Cook showed he can handle the workload of a No. 1 back with his performance last year. Behind him, there isn’t a lot of depth in the backfield, so there are additional opportunities for him.
