Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon made headlines for all the wrong reasons after she and her driver allegedly flew into a rage for driving recklessly and attacking three women. A mob then attacked the actress and she asked them not to hit her.

However, she wanted to do something that the audience had never seen her in before. “I chose Aranyak as my digital debut and it really worked. The year was really full of awards and the risk was worth it,” she said.

Raveena also spoke about her meeting with Hotstar directors Ram Madhvani and Nikhil Madhok and said, “We have to do something (together). I am really excited to work with Ram. I had to explain to him why I couldn’t do Aarya. Then he understood my reason,” confirming that she was indeed approached for the family crime drama starring Sushmita Sen in the lead role.

Above all, Aarya is not the only big project that Raveena Tandon has turned down in her career. From the 1991 film Phool Aur Kaante To Chhaiya, India out of Dil Se and even Karan Johar’s Kuch Kuch Hota HaiThe actress has said no to some of the most successful films of the present day.
