DeKalb police arrest woman after traffic stop

AFTON TOWNSHIP, Ill. (WIFR) – DeKalb police stopped and arrested a woman on an outstanding warrant Tuesday afternoon.

Just before 2 p.m. Tuesday, Barbara McPherson, 69, of Waterman was driving a gray 2020 Kia Forte when police stopped her at the intersection of Route 23 and Perry Road. Investigation revealed that McPherson had an active California warrant for her arrest for possession of dangerous drugs.

She was arrested and taken to the DeKalb County Jail.
