Plainfield CT resident arrested for possession of illegal drugs

Two Plainfield residents were arrested Monday on various charges, including operating a drug factory.

At approximately 9:58 a.m. Monday, members of the Plainfield Police Department arrested Jamie Dionne, 51, and Pamela Dionne, 38, both of Plainfield.

According to Plainfield police, an officer on patrol observed a tan Cadillac traveling north on Putnam Road fail to maintain its lane in the area of ​​Plainfield High School. A motor vehicle stop was conducted in the area of ​​Plainfield High School.

During the investigation, officers assumed that illegal drug transactions were involved. Plainfield Police Department Narcotics Detective K-9 Ingrid was deployed to the vehicle and alerted to the presence of illegal drugs. K-9 Ingrid was also alerted to the presence of illegal narcotics on Jamie and Pamela. According to police, a search of Jamie and Pamela revealed that both were hiding illegal narcotics.

According to police, there were large amounts of fentanyl and crack cocaine in the vehicle, which was packaged for sale.

Plainfield police reported the seizure of 31 packages of crack cocaine weighing approximately 16 grams and approximately 1,500 packages of fentanyl weighing 378 grams. Additionally, $2,089 was seized as part of the investigation.
