Quote: “Tonight, the enemy carried out another massive attack on the Ukrainian energy sector using drones and missiles. In particular, three power transmission facilities were attacked, one of them in Mykolaiv Oblast,” the report said.

According to Shmyhal, the Russians have not achieved their goals because the Ukrainian energy system is in balance and no power outages are planned.

Shmyhal further stated that he had familiarized himself with the process of building two 1.5 MW cogeneration plants in Mykolaiv.

“This will provide heat to nearly 200 residential buildings, 5 medical facilities and 24 educational institutions,” he said.

In general, Mykolaivoblteploenergo, the energy supply company of the Mykolaiv region, has committed to building five decentralized energy generation plants based on gas-piston combined heat and power plants with a total capacity of 5.5 MW for the new heating season.

Background: Power outages occurred throughout the day in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Odessa, Poltava, Ivano-Frankivsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson and Chernihiv oblasts due to Russian attacks and ongoing hostilities.
