Repairs complete after contractor hits gas line in southeast Atlanta

Atlanta Watershed says crews are working to repair a meter line in southeast Atlanta.

A gas line was repaired after Atlanta Gas Light said an area contractor touched its gas line.

Watershed and Atlanta Gas Light crews were in the 2000 block of Jonesboro Road SE where the incident occurred.

Atlanta Gas crews completed repairs by 8:30 p.m.

Crews continue to make emergency repairs to the four-inch service meter line.
