Houston, TX

Megan Thee Stallion has always represented her home turf with pride, and her latest concert involved the help of area veterans.

On Friday, June 14, the 29-year-old performed the first of two sold-out shows at the Toyota Center in Houston as part of her Hot Girl summer tour.

During the explosive set, she set aside a moment to honor the OGs from the metropolis. In orchestrating the ultimate hat trick, Meg called on Lil Keke (to perform “Southside”), Slim Thug (for “Still Trippin'”) and Bun B (for “Int’l Player’s Anthem (I Choose You)) of UGK) in Succession.

Her shows in Texas have been exciting so far, as she welcomed Paul Wall on stage during his set at the Moody Center in Austin the night before.

Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla are currently on tour together in the United States, and their relationship seems to have strengthened on the road.

Earlier this week, Houston Hottie shared a series of photos from her ongoing hike, behind-the-scenes escapades, and personal life. In addition to expressing gratitude for her dancers and fans in the caption, the rapper also made it a point to shout out her collaborator, “Wanna Be.”

“I love the bond me and @glorillapimp have built over the last few weeks!” she wrote. “You are my sister 4L, you and Cola never get rid of me.”

In the comments, the Memphis native replied, “I love you 4L Meg. I’m so happy I got to do this tour with you, I wouldn’t have done it any other way. I can’t wait for them to hear this hot shit ahhhh so excited.

THE Traumazine The hit singer performed at the Amalie Arena last week, visibly overcome with emotion as she performed her hit single “Cobra.”

Fans at the show captured the tearful moment on camera, with footage showing the superstar attempting to perform the song while repeatedly choking up. At one point, she could even be seen holding her head in her hand as she sobbed.

“I’m going to give you this performance without crying,” she said, letting the first lines of the song play before taking the microphone again.
