High Springs Playhouse performs “Dead Man’s Cell Phone”

The High Springs Playhouse will perform Sarah Ruhl’s “Dead Man’s Cell Phone” beginning Friday.

The play runs through June 30, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. at 23416 W. US Highway 27 in High Springs.

The dramatic comedy, directed by Sarah Hanson, is about a cell phone that keeps ringing in a quiet café. A stranger at the next table has had enough. And a dead person – with many unanswered questions. This is how the story begins, which deals with how we remember the dead and how this remembering changes us.
