HPD investigates: Child drowns in west Houston apartment complex

HOUSTON (KIAH) – A toddler drowned in the pool at a Houston apartment complex in the 1700 block of Greenhouse Road.

Relatives told the Houston Police Department (HPD) that the child was in the pool with them when they entered the deep end and sank.

Relatives removed the child, but he was no longer responding. Relatives attempted to resuscitate the child with CPR, but it was too late. The child is dead. It is not yet known whether charges will be filed.
