He added that the injuries did not appear to have been caused by the attacker’s knife.

“One of them allegedly carried a knife and attacked the other two men, who were injured, but their injuries did not appear to have been caused by the weapon the suspect was carrying,” the insider said.

He added that one of the victims suffered a dislocated arm and the other suffered a head injury from broken glass.

The source said the suspect was arrested at the scene.

A police spokesman said all three men were taken to the United Christian Hospital in Kwun Tong for treatment.

The source said the reason for the attack was being investigated.

Police are treating the incident as an assault case and detectives from the Kwun Tong Criminal Investigation Department are investigating.

The attack came about 18 hours after passersby and staff intervened when a man attacked a cashier at a fast food outlet in a shopping center in Sha Tin with a knife.

According to police, three men were also injured in the incident, including the 43-year-old suspect.

The cashier, who suffered cuts to her left arm and nose, and the three men were taken to the Prince of Wales Hospital for treatment.

Police said another woman who worked at the fast-food restaurant was also treated in hospital for shock.
