Fire destroys Houston home on Memorial Drive, causing traffic delays

HOUSTON – A house fire along Memorial Drive caused traffic delays Monday during the afternoon rush hour.

The house is just west of I-610, between Carnarvon Drive and Chatsworth Drive.

From Sky 2, the damage to the house looked pretty bad. No one was hurt.

Houston Fire is asking people to avoid the area as many of their emergency vehicles are blocking roadways.
