Beaumont police said a car involved in a May 5 killing in Houston was found in Beaumont with a body inside.

Beaumont police received a request from Houston police Tuesday to search for a car in the area of ​​the 2500 block of Interstate 10 East, according to Officer Haley Morrow. Officer Morrow said they found it parked next to a building and a man’s body inside.

Morrow said detectives from Beaumont police and Houston police are currently working on the case. No further information was available.
