5 tight ends who will test the Buffalo Bills defense in 2024

The Buffalo Bills will face many talented players in 2024, and with the many new additions the Bills acquired this offseason, they will face the difficult task of stopping these players. These players play a very underrated position that is viewed differently from team to team, and that position is tight end.

Tight Ends come in different shapes and sizes, most of them are used as extra linemen, some as receivers and some are balanced in both receiving and blocking. However, there are very few game-changing tight ends in the league, but the Bills will face some of those game-changers this season.

Most fans thought Marquise Brown would have been the leader in receiving yards, but it ended up being Trey McBride. McBride quietly had a good season with the Cardinals in 2023, racking up over 800 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

McBride was more of a backup to veteran Zach Ertz early in the season. However, even with the range of backup quarterbacks thrown at McBride, he was able to get something out of it and establish himself as a legitimate offensive threat.

Mcbride took off the first week Kyler Murray returned from injury, as he recorded a career-high 131 receiving yards and continued to build their chemistry throughout the season. McBride is a dangerous player the Bills should plan around, and it will also be more difficult with Marvin Harrison Jr. in the game plan.
