Police search for man who sexually harassed a runner

Dallas police say someone sexually assaulted a woman as she jogged along the White Rock Lake Trail in the middle of the day. It happened around noon last Thursday.

According to police, the woman was running near West Lawther Drive when someone attacked her from behind and raped her.

The attacker is described as a white man, approximately 5’5″ tall, with short, clean-cut red hair and a beard. He is thin, but has a slight belly.
According to police, he may have scratches on his face and body.

Detectives are currently working to identify and locate the rapist and are asking people in the area to be extra cautious and report anything suspicious.

Dallas Police urge the public to practice good safety precautions at all times, including always being aware of your surroundings, going out with another person, telling a trusted friend or family member where you are, and staying in well-lit areas at night.
